Champions League: Marseille number between zero and Manchester

The English champions Manchester United record is again in the Champions League quarter-final course. The leaders of the Premier League came in the duel of former Champions League winner on Wednesday night to a 0-0 draw at Olympique Marseille and obtained for the quarter-finals on 15 March at Old Trafford a solid starting position.

60 031 spectators in the packed Stade Velodrome saw an intense battle between the French master and crew of the Team Manager Alex Ferguson, in which the highlights were very rare. Many things took place between both penalty areas, despite the fact that Ferguson Wayne Rooney, Nani and the former Leverkusen Bundesliga player Dimitar Berbatov the best of the best mustered on the offensive.

Shots on goal were in short supply, with an attempt by Darren Fletcher had from 17 m Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda for example, no problems (9). Once it's on both sides once walked into the area was mostly a defensive leg at the last pass in between. Marseille, which is founded by former world and European champions Didier Deschamps train waits for the Champions League victory in 1993 on the way into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
