The Levante received at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia to Almería with the intention to extend their good form and, in turn, distance to a direct rival in the fight against relegation. The team accumulated Valencia for the first time this season, two wins in a row, which distanced him from the last place in the table and could for the first time in its history, stringing three consecutive victories in the First Division.
Luis Garcia, coach of the East, lost for injury to Sergio Gonzalez and Miguel Pallardó and maintain the doubt until late Ruben Suarez, with sore muscles in the foot throughout the week. Meanwhile, Ecuadorian Felipe Caicedo and Jefferson Montero can play, the first, after serving one-match ban for accumulation of yellow, while the second did not play against Villarreal by a clause in the contract of assignment.
Although Luis Garcia gave no hint during the week and give the squad tomorrow, Caicedo occupy the tip of attack accompanied by Xisco Muñoz. The substitute would Pallardó Vicente Iborra, Xavi Torres who accompany the hub of the midfield. UD Almería seek a positive result because the stakes are high for their future to a direct rival in pursuit of permanence in the First Division.
The good run in the last four games two wins and a tie-in to Real Madrid, and defeat in Anoeta (2-0), are the arguments of Almeria to apply for a "booty" in the fiefdom of one of his closest rivals and that the classification has the disadvantage of a single point. Against Almeria are the statistics of the confrontations with the Levant: three victories (the last 3-0 in the 2007-08 season at first), and a tie, a victory for the Andalusian (2-4, in the 2005-06, II).
For this game, the coach, José Luis Oltra, presents the latest on Carlos Garcia, after serving sentence; Luna, who entered the lists against Espanyol, by a viral illness, and Juanito, once recovered from his injury to his Almeria debut around the quarter finals of the Copa del Rey in Riazor.
Probable lineups: Levante: Munúa, Javi Venta, Ballesteros, Nano, Del Horno, Valdo, Xavi Torres, Iborra, Juanlu, Xisco Muñoz y Caicedo. UD Almeria: Diego Alves, Michel, Carlos Garcia, Marcelo Silva, Luna, M'Bami, Bernardello, Kalu Uche, Piatti, Cruse, and Leo Ulloa. Referee: Delgado Ferreiro (Basque school).
Stadium: City of Valencia. Time: 10:00 am Central Time Mexico.
