Valencia Mestalla Stadium will host the final of the Copa del Rey soccer to face Barcelona and Real Madrid on April 20, as decided in the meeting today between representatives of both clubs and the Spanish Federation Soccer (RFEF). At the meeting, which took place in the federal seat of the City of Futbol de Las Rozas, has also discussed the allocation of tickets for the event, which is initially set to start in the 22.00 local time (14:00 Center hours of Mexico).
However, both clubs have requested that consideration be given to advance the schedule of the Final in a range between 21.00 and 21.30 hours, something that the RFEF is ready to consider in the coming days. One of the most debated, because from the very beginning the parties expressed their "total agreement" that the Final was made at the Mestalla and did not discuss any other stadium has been on the division of the locations.
Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have asked the RFEF to make the "effort" to grant a quota of 20,000 places each of them, at the large number of applications they already have.
