Barcelona coach, Pep Guardiola, has reached an agreement to renew as Barça coach until June 30, 2012, as reported by the club in a statement. Guardiola, who this year celebrates its third season in front of the first team, will sign his new contract in the coming days. The technical renovation Santpedor had become a priority for the Board who presides Sandro Rosell, a year ago it was for Joan Laporta.
In both cases, expected at Guardiola he thought was the best time to announce its continuity: after "hangover" from the Copa del Rey and before the resumption of the Champions League. Under his orders, Barça have had a tremendously attractive game and has signed several memorable nights, including the historic 2-6, made at the Bernabeu last two seasons, or the 5-0 which also endorsed him to Real Madrid in the Camp Nou at the beginning of this campaign.
