Juan Mata extended his contract with Valencia until 2014

The Spanish international Juan Mata has reached an agreement with Valencia to extend his contract until June 30, 2014, said today Manuel Llorente, President of the club, at the meeting of Board of Directors. Mata, World Champion with the Spanish in South Africa 2010, extended in this way for two more seasons, his contract with Valencia, and accepts completed negotiations that have dragged on for more than a year.

The agreement will go down on the 24th January and will be formalized in a public ceremony in the town of Denia, Valencia city with deep roots.
