Cristiano Ronaldo could miss the first leg against Tottenham Real Madrid for the quarter finals of the Champions League with Tottenham because of a hamstring injury in his left leg. Doctors at the Real Madrid confirmed on Sunday that the Portuguese winger suffered the injury in a 2-1 win at Atletico Madrid on Saturday for the Spanish league.
Its low estimated two to three weeks. According to the medical report released by the club, "depending on the clinical course," Christian could miss the first leg of the European Championship in Madrid to Tottenham on 5 April. Was ruled out for friendly matches for Portugal next week against Chile and Finland, in addition to the league match against Sporting Gijon on 2 April.
The injury affects the femoral biceps in his left leg. The team's top scorer this season had lost a couple of games earlier this month with a thigh injury.
