The Reds begin a run to Europe from Sunderland

Kenny Dalglish had tried to motivate his team on the eve of the second round of the Champions League with Liverpool Braga recalling the link with Europe. Unfortunately for the Reds this was not enough to land the quarter-finals of the competition for Liverpool and now there is a real opportunity to find out from the upcoming international competitions for the first time since 1999, with Birmingham winning the Carling Cup and one of Bolton and Stoke City in the FA Cup final, in the league just give away a 5th place in Champions League qualification.

"It 's still a feasible goal," said goalkeeper Reina despite the gap of 7 points from Tottenham "There are still 9 games and lots of points available." The run-up to Europe begins at Sunderland, where Reina was mocked on the field last season by a carom on an inflatable balloon launched from the stands: the reds are still without captain of Gerrad, as well as Kelly, and Aurelio Shelvey, but can count back up Luis Suarez, whose presence dates back to the fantastic final 3-1 to Manchester United.

For Sunderland but the notes are pleased indenting Onuhoa, Cattermole, and the former Wellbeck Zenden. On the way the challenge ended 2-2 with goals from Gerrard, Kuyt and two goals from Bent. The Sunderland is recovering from a single point from their last five matches, while Dalglish missing a win to reach the maximum altitude of 250 series.
