Manchester ultimately has very little shook. Making a difference quickly, the Red Devils have taken shelter from a nasty surprise against OM in the second round back in the Champions League, even if the goal from Marseille, ten minutes from the end, have given them a cold sweat. For Wayne Rooney, MU did not deserve anyway not go to the door against the reigning champions of France.
"I am delighted to be in the quarterfinals. We knew that Marseille is a very physical team and very powerful. I think we deserved the victory. They put good balls into the box, which has made life difficult, but we defended well on the end for the win we needed. We have not had a chance to concede the goal against our side.
We have held in the end. If you want to win the competition you have to beat everybody. We will be confident regardless of the opponent in the next round, "said the England striker, who remained silent during the two games but that has issued the final pass for the first goal of Hernandez on Tuesday.
