Soccer-Bundesliga: The big chair backs coach could end up ugly

Necessary changes in working life has poured Robin Dutt in two very nice sets. One sounds almost philosophical, the other is rather designed as a warning. "Anyone who does things because he has always done so, on the way down," added the 46-year-old coach once said, and thus provides a glimpse into his inner life.

Stagnation, habit and routine are therefore in Dutt's eyes little beneficial properties to assert itself permanently in the Bundesliga. "Do never, ever dependent on the head coach, not even by Robin Dutt," is the second theme that fits so well since yesterday about the upcoming change. Dutt, this charismatic and yet unapproachable coach will leave the SC Freiburg in the summer and then hire in Leverkusen.

Even at club he leaves behind an ordered field in Leverkusen, he gets just what every coach craves: an ambitious team with title hopes. For months now, Bayer executives had made eyes at Dutt's commitment. The aim was to find a successor for Jupp Heynckes (65), either after this season, but perhaps not until after the next.

Because the league's oldest coach but could not bring itself to a third year in office in Leverkusen, quick action was needed now. Dutt comes in only three months to the Rhine, Freiburg receives nearly one million Euro transfer fee, because the coach was bound there until the summer of 2012.

Robin Dutt was always our first point of contact for the succession of Jupp Heynckes - whether in 2011 or 2012, "sporting director Rudi Voeller said on Monday. And good Dutt added: "I am looking forward to the challenge in Leverkusen and working with a team managed by Jupp Heynckes excellent.

The I-mediated in the talks philosophy of Bayer 04 Leverkusen is also my view on football. "Heynckes speed No and Yes Dutt to Bayer, the already high chairs back coach in the league again. While Freiburg expected to succeed as internal triggers and the head of the Regional team, Marcus Sorg, ordered in the first row, it attracts Heynckes to Munich.

From 1987 to 1991 and in 2009 he was already there working, the friendship with President Hoeness and the high value fuel within the club is now a third term of the training manager at Bayern - even if the target person himself confess may not yet on the future employer. "There is no commitment from me, nor have so far negotiations with Bayern held," said Heynckes and confirmed that he Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge after the agreed separation of Louis van Gaal on 7 had offered in March as coach.

Even with his buddy Hoeness he had already phoned.
