Tile home in Bolton: long stop for Holden

Season over for Stuart Holden: Bolton midfielder, a victim of a conflict with Saturday's Manchester United Johnny Evans (sent off for surgery), reported a major knee injury that required the application of 26 stitches. For the U.S. the season is definitely over and there is even talk of 6 months of recovery time.

Holden has revealed that he received a phone call of apology from Evans via twitter and promised that "come back stronger than before." A blow for Bolton who will be without key in the appointment of Holden particularly at Wembley: "Stuart has been fantastic all season and proved to be one of the best midfielders in the league," said manager Owen Coyle "We will give all the support he needs, I'm sure he will put all his strength and his character in rehabilitation.
