We can beat Barcelona: Mesut Özil

Mesut Özil, German international midfielder Real Madrid, said his team is "on track" and becoming "stronger" to compete with big rivals Barcelona, who are fighting the League, will play the Final Copa del Rey and will cross the Champions League semifinals by eliminating Tottenham and Shakhtar Donetsk, respectively.

"You see that Barcelona have players who have been playing together for several years and we have a very young team but with great potential. But we are on the right track and continue to evolve," he admitted at an event in which he presented Nike new boots which premiered at the Vicente Calderon derby.

"Every time we get better and stronger. I am convinced that we can achieve a good system of play and win at Barcelona," he added. Özil gave good words to his coach Jose Mourinho. "He always wants us to pay one hundred per cent and both enjoy. He laughs a lot, makes jokes and talks to all players.

For us it is very important." German soccer player highlighted his dream to win all the titles that the Real Madrid match. "I want to win everything, so I came to Real Madrid. I'm very comfortable and I have to continue to evolve as a player.
