After a long drought of activity at Tottenham Hotspur in England, Giovani Dos Santos was signed on loan from Racing Santander in the Spanish league team looking to avoid relegation category. The Mexican player agreed that not having minutes of play in the London club he has lost two years of his football career, in addition to not feel real professional player because he spent many months on the bench or was not summoned by coach Harry Redknapp.
