FFF avoids controversy by moving the final 2012

In a first calendar, published, the French Football Federation had scheduled May 5, 2012 Cup final in France. The body had probably not seen that this date was the twentieth anniversary of the tragedy of Furiani, which shocked in Corsica, where the memory of eighteen spectators died in the collapse of a grandstand during the game Bastia-OM is still alive.

To avoid controversy, the federal office announced Friday that another date would be chosen.
