Adebayor joins Real Madrid on loan from Manchester City

Real Madrid said Tuesday it reached a deal with Manchester City for the transfer of striker Emmanuel Adebayor, 26, until the end of this season. The Real Madrid "has reserved a unilateral option to purchase at the end of the transfer period," the club said in a statement. Arsene Wenger was the coach who trusted him, he signed for Arsenal from Monaco in Season 2005-06.

Then signed by Manchester City in 2009-10 and this season had scored 5 goals in 13 games. In his 354 career games, bringing his career in France and England, has scored 124 goals as Real Madrid says on its website.
