French press: "The Rome follows Birsa"

ROME, Jan. 20 - hardly renew the contract due to expire at the end of the year with Auxerre and will be even more difficult to play in Ligue1. The Slovenian midfielder Valter Birsa, Class '86, could soon become one of the valuable pieces of the winter market, or go to the end and decide for yourself which dress shirt next season when it will be a free transfer.

As reported today by the French weekly 'Le10Sport', Birsa would be followed by some English clubs (Wigan, Blackpool and Liverpool in particular), but on his trail is also active in the Rome that Italy would like to bring the youngest player in the history of Slovenian football part of the senior team (18 years).

Birsa career he played in his country, first among the ranks of those between the NDA Gorica Primorje then. In 2006 he was voted best player of the year and Slovenia, in the same year, he signed a four-year contract with Sochaux, after refusing the offer of PSV Eindhoven. In the last days of the 2008-2009 winter market was thus transferred Auxerre, but now in the preferences of the Series A would be the first player in the Premier League.
