Back in Spain after undergoing surgery for a herniated disc, the Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain said on Thursday it had not lost hope of playing again this season with Real Madrid. "I'm fine, was everything as expected, on track, I lost most of the leg pain that would not let me play and now the countdown to return," Higuain said on his arrival at Barajas International Airport.Higuain was operated in Chicago on 11 January and coach Jose Mourinho does not cure him back before the end of the season. But the Argentine 23 years is more optimistic about his recovery. "I am totally confident that I can return sooner, but that it sends the body," he said. Higuain had scored 10 goals in 17 games this season until late November began to suffer back injury.
