The team from Santos / Cortiana / Unilus already has a time and place to debut. The first competition will be the team from the City Cup Turf, to be played between 23 and 26 February in the city of Gramado (RS). The Gaucho fans will be able to see the new Brazilian futsal team in action for the first time in a competition.Led by coach Fernando Ferreti, Santos has confirmed in his squad players like wing Hawk, voted best player of Futsal World Cup 2008, and the pivot Deives. The rest of the group should be confirmed at the end of January. In addition to the Saints, also will compete in the Cup Turf Intelli City / Orlando (SP), defending champion Sao Paulo, the Krona / Joinville / Dalponte defending world champion, Santa Catarina, and the Atlantic Apti Erechim Uri (RS).
The teams face off in a single round, and the two best decide the title of the competition.
