LONDON, April 18 - Gareth Bale, Tottenham's left flank, was elected player of the year in England by the professional footballers. Bale, Welsh 21 years, has established itself with a season of great depth, which has produced over seven goals in the Premier League and has provided excellent performance in the Champions League.
