In Manchester City's laughing and crying United

Sale on Saturday afternoon for Sir Alex Ferguson and suspended from the stands of a packed Wembley Stadium, attended the elimination of Manchester United (1-0) by the neighbor and rival Manchester City in the semi-finals the Cup. Moreover, the coach also saw the Mancunian Paul Scholes take iconic red for the least deserved after a tackle on XXL Zabaleta (72).

Before arriving there, we must recognize that this semi-final was rather poor technically, although both teams did spared in the purest style of the Manchester derby. It was not until the 52nd minute, and a revival of Carrick failed to see Yaya Toure overtake Vidic and deceive the poor Van Der Sar abandoned by his defense on this one then.

The Manchester City fans could exult and it succeeded players Mancini close to double the lead immediately. With the advantage of a goal, and soon eleven against ten, the Citizens knew, however, some sweat, Manchester United, as usual not releasing anything. Hart was quite happy to push the bar on a free-kick from Nani, but the mass was over and Manchester City will have the opportunity on May 14 next, always at Wembley to win his first trophy since 1976.

Enough to forget the millions of euros invested in the club and the moment never justified.
