Osasuna 2-0 Barcelona ... Barca keeps the distance with a game

The FC Barcelona is set closer to lift the League title and a game in the same safe distance. That's what got the Barcelona against Osasuna (2-0) in a match Barca thick, with a team full of substitutes and the head and legs placed in the semifinals of the Champions League against Real Madrid. A bit of David Villa, the first time, and a Leo Messi, with two minutes left, signed a victory in one of those annoying games on the schedule, in the midst of a butler and a semi-final in Europe.

And with the 2-0, the club served its purpose: to add as were the three points and keep the difference of eight points with fifteen to play. Did little Pep Guardiola's team, who scored two shots on goal he tried. Output, the club played twenty minutes without tension, riddled with errors, determined with a great action Afellay, a good cross from Jeffren Suarez and both David Villa.

Little more. The Spaniard's goal in the 24th minute ended eleven games for Barca striker drought, which is not marked since 26 February. Without Messi, and Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol and Pique, exit, and after the rout of Real Madrid at the Mestalla (3-6), the club sought incentives in a match that had to serve to discount dates on the calendar and keep lead in the standings.

Seemed to find promising alignment with Thiago Alcantara, who gave Guardiola wand today, and the young midfielder was very active, especially in the opening minutes. But the stars were other, Villa, Mascherano and Valdes. The Spaniard, by his goal, a good omen in view of the upcoming matches against Real Madrid, but he who shone above all was Javier Mascherano.

In his new demarcation as a central, Argentina was immense. Teamed up with Milito and gave a recital of good placement and exit of the ball. Barca, with two Argentinian and two lateral central Brazilian did not do much before 1-0, but not much more later, especially for errors in the pass, where Sergio Busquets was the palm, and mental dispersion.

Osasuna, with lots of low, tried to stifle Barca in their field. Mendilibar ordered his team playing with the lines too early, but except for a couple of actions and Vadócz Cejudo and a free kick by Nekounam, just had a presence in the area of Valdés. The calmness with which Barca took the match was broken in the last minute of first half.

Valdés, hitherto unpublished, saved the ballot after a shot from the small area of Damia Abella-by-play of Kike Sola. Valdés, perfect reflections, rejected the ball hit the bat. The scare was installed in the Camp Nou with the entire second half to play. In the second part, Guardiola Iniesta put into play, for limbo.

Began to warm in the band Messi and Xavi, but Barcelona was playing at low revs. Valdes had to intervene to save a direct launch Cejudo (m.50), until the Barca coach looked at the band ushered Messi (m.58) by Villa, which had scored the goal that had already justified alignment. Xavi came shortly after by a limping Milito, and Barca tried to put back with Mascherano and Busquets as central.

Barca physically saw them very tight. Were still top on goal, but Barca did not feel harassed by the rival that offered little more than pressure. A shot from Iniesta, a quarter of an hour remaining, is the closest Guardiola had a goal so far in the second half. Messi provided little in attack and, for dessert, the only left back the club has available, Maxwell, injured twenty minutes to go with the three changes already made.

Mendilibar it played Timor Pandiani and ten minutes to go. Guardiola recomposed his team. Mascherano ended up playing left back, defensive midfielder Xavi of Barcelona and puffing. In one of the few good connections in the Barca attack. Alves played with Messi and Argentina closed the match (2-0) and opened wide the door of the League.

A win to keep a good distance from the second, but a win-face with the almost certain damage to Maxwell, the only left-back available after Adriano's physical problems and disease Abidal.
