Rooney banned for two matches

Three days after the success of Manchester United at West Ham (2-4), Ferguson disillusioned. Indeed, the author of a hat-trick on Saturday, Wayne Rooney was suspended two games by the Football Association for using abusive and insulting language by celebrating one of its goals before the TV cameras.

"The FA has today sanctioned the Manchester United player, Wayne Rooney, to abusive and foul language during his appearance against West Ham. The player until Tuesday, 18H, to appeal, "said the statement from the FA. Heavily criticized in recent months because of his disappointing statistics, Wayne Rooney has a bit too loose and everything suggests he will accept this decision rather than risk being penalized more heavily on appeal.

The England striker then miss the league game against Fulham and the semi-finals of FA Cup against Manchester City.
