Adrián Escudero, the greatest striker of Atletico Madrid, died

The football in Spain's capital has been dyed in mourning today after it was unveiled that the maximum romperredes in the history of Atletico Madrid, Adrián Escudero, died at the age of 84. Escudero was a mythical Atletico player who won two leagues with the club (1950 and 1951) and scored 152 goals in League Cup and 18 in addition, goal number 700, 900, 1000 and 1200 the team were scored by him for career that spanned from 1946 to 1958.

The Club Atlético de Madrid issued a statement that the directive, headed by President Enrique Cerezo and CEO, Miguel Angel Gil Marin, gave his condolences to the family of former player from the club and Atletico fans.
