FRANKFURT, March 15 - Germany coach Joachim Loew has extended his contract with the German Football Association (DFB) to the planned World Cup in Brazil in 2014. This was announced by the same association. Loew, 51, had succeeded Klinsmann after the World Cup flop in the house in 2006 and had led the German national team to second place in Euro 2008 and the third at the World Cup 2010.
Last summer, his contract was extended until 2012 to allow him to lead Germany to our neighbor in the European program in Poland and Ukraine.
