Szczesny out, Wenger thinks an emergency loan

The injury suffered by Barcelona goalkeeper Szczesny has left a vacuum behind Almunia: Arsene Wenger has revealed that Poland may need six weeks to recover. With Fabianski already on the edge for the rest of the season, Wenger can not even recall the Italian Vito Mannone, now on loan all'Hull City but also out through injury for the next few weeks.

The Alsatian manager could then apply for a permit to engage in the Premier League on loan a goalie out of the window market. A year ago, the same exemption was granted at Manchester City, who took Fulop from Sunderland after the injury to Given.
