Iker Casillas suffered the third ejection of his career at Real Madrid

Iker Casillas, captain of Real Madrid, was in the 2nd minute of the match against Espanyol at Estadio Cornella-El Prat, the third ejection of his career after receiving a straight red on 18 December 2001 in the Copa del Rey against the double yellow Gimnastic and Osasuna on April 30, 2006. The Collegiate Mateu Lahoz expelled for bringing down Casillas Alley outside the area, a move similar to that cost him his first red on the first team of Real Madrid, Gimnastic Tarragona to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in the last nine years, when it was Lara footballer who made the foul.

That December 18, 2001 Real Madrid won 4-2 at Gimnastic and Casillas was sent off 10 minutes from the end of the meeting butler. His second came in Osasuna's stadium, on April 30, 2006, for two yellow cards in minutes 43 and 80, in a meeting that all Madrid won 0-1 thanks to a goal from Julio Baptista's penalty.
